Meddlesome Moth to open Wednesday

posted on April 25, 2010 in The Moth

Its been a long haul and now we are very near opening day. Expect the Moth to open this coming Wednesday at 4 PM. We will not open for lunch for a few weeks, but will be open every night for dinner starting April 4/28/2010. I’ve tasted almost all of the draughts by now and I must say – they are tasty! The beer is so fresh and we have a few rotating jewels to start things off.

Lagunitas Cappuccino StoutAvery Maharaja and Dogfish Head Midas Touch are the first three rotating beers. We will tap the first Cask once we start to rev up. I need to know our beer fans have found us before I tap the bung on a live ale.

Our wine list is 40 deep and our full bar offers some classic cocktails, single malt scotchs and small batch bourbons. Come see this bar and enjoy the chef driven menu. I’ll be around, so please come say hello.

Cheers

Beer Fest at the Lake

posted on April 13, 2010 in Lake Flying Saucer

Our Summer Beer Fest at lake Ray Hubbard is scheduled for June 5th. This date has changed from the previously set May 22nd. We did not want to conflict with Taste of Addison.

Side note: In 1995, I had the privilege of opening the first Flying Saucer in Fort Worth Texas on June 5th. So essentially, this Beer Fest is on our 15th Anniversary. Come help us celebrate beer on Bass Pro Drive. Mark your calendars. We’ll have some interesting and unique beers for everyone to enjoy. Cheers…
