Bell’s Hopslam CASK Night – KC
Matt does it again in KC. He is bringing you the best the market can offer up in the form of liquid gold. This Monday – January 18th he will tap the bung on a Cask of Hopslam.
Hopslam is a seasonal, high-gravity American Double/Imperial IPA from Bell’s Brewery in Kalamazoo, Mich., and is only available from Jan. 7 through February each year.
The casks will be tapped starting at 7 p.m. Tell your friends, write your momma and bring the kids if you must. Don’t miss this rare chance to taste this “biting, bitter, tongue bruiser of an ale.”
Hopslam is fantastic. I wish that it were available in Arkansas. The good thing is that I have a case that was sent to me from a friend in Michigan. Captain Keith please help the effort to bring Bell’s to Arkansas by joining the facebook group Bring Bells Beer to Arkansas.

Never had it but it sounds delicious. Looks like we don’t get it in TN. Boo. We’ll have to have family send some down.

Matt said they drained keg number 1 in a little over 20 minutes – the time it took them to pour and serve! Thanks to all the folks in KC that came out to enjoy the beer. We’ll certainly do more of this type of offering.
